Center Channel Hole This is a required option.

With Access Holes: This is the traditional method. Spoke access holes are drilled in the center channel to allow the nipples to easily be fed through the rim. Tubeless tape is required to seal the rim.

No Access Holes: No spoke access holes are drilled in the center channel. Feeding the nipples through the rim is more challenging, but it allows for a tubeless setup without the need for tape. This kind of system is known as "road tubeless" and was made popular by Mavic. Some companies still refer to it as "UST style", however, UST is actually a specific interface between the tire and rim which was developed by a partnership between Mavic, Michelin, and Hutchinson.

Currently, rims with 'No Access Holes' do not work with our carbon spokes.

Drain Hole This is a required option.

The two small drain holes located 90° to the valve hole effectively help evacuate both the water trapped inside the rim and the air leaking into the rim chamber caused by nonperfect tubeless tape sealing handwork that may risk rim explosure in an aggressive tire inflating.

It is the small reinforced layer prelaminated on the area where the drain hole is drilled later that makes the rim strength fairly ensured without any compromise of weight added.

Riders who ride in wet areas are suggested to order rims with drain holes.

Please note: Contrary to rims with any coated/painted finishes (matte, glossy and satin) as well as Crystal Painting, laser engraving could work with paintless rims only.

2. Full Custom - Add some additional personalization and go full custom with your rim graphics! Laser engraving is available in one colour (light grey) and starts at $5 USD per rim. If you select this option, LEAVE YOUR REQUEST IN QUOTES IN THE NOTES AT CHECKOUT. For example: "I need my personalized logo printed" or "Just text 'ABC racing' ". Valve Stem This is a required option.

We use a lightweight black alloy anodized valves with an oversized concave collar for easy gripping. A rubber o-ring goes in between the rim and the collar to help seal the rim and match the contour of the rim profile. The valve core is removable so you can add sealant without removing your tire.

Michael : 2018 Canyon Ultimate CF SLX Disc with 25mm tires in the front, 32mm tires in the rear. AR465 X-Flow wheelset with internal nipples, oil slick Bitex hubes, and spokes. Had 0 issues in the 2+ years I rode them on the road. They performed and looked great in all conditions, including 20 MPH+ 90 degree perpendicular crosswinds. Custom decals also looked great. I recently sold this bike but the wheels looked as they did when new. 25mm GP5000 S TR in the front measured at 26.7mm, 32mm measured to a bit over 33mm. I never had issues installing, removing, or inflating tires. I suspect I may have needed a single tire lever, but it wasn't difficult otherwise.

Nick : After riding the AR375 for over a year I decided to get a Pair of the AR465, this time opting for the Flyweight option. This was actually my very first wheelset I built on my own, lacing the Rims on a Set of DT Swiss 180 EXP Hubs. They feel ever so slightly faster than the shallower AR375 but still stable in crosswinds. I took these to Mallorca earlier this year and can confirm that these are well capable of go fast up and downhill.

Desmond : I am impressed that LB allows customization for every order to suits their customers expectations while maintaining cost effectiveness. Most importantly, they produced rims which also cater for heavy riders like me. Hence, I customised my AR465 standard version to suit my weight with my preferred design. During the manufacturing process, I asked LB whether am I able to choose rim decal as an option to put up on my rim as laser engraving is the only option which a little too dull for me. As such, their sales representative, Koko, engaged me that she will throw in a few pieces of LB logo valve decal in my order based on my color selection. When I held the rim for the first time, it was very well built at its top notch quality in every details. In term of weight, it is lighter than my original rims. Once I rebuilt my wheelset and brought out for my first ride, I experienced several bumps on the road, the rim still stay as trued as it should. Asthetically, it makes my road bike stands out than before. Thanks to LB for making such great rims and I truly satisfied with my purchase. Thumbs up.

Roman : Went for a mullet custom setup for my Aethos. AR465 at the front, and AR565 at the back. Currently set up non tubeless, but will eventually hop over if thermoplastic tubes don't feel compliant and reliable. Wheels came in perfect, production as stated takes a while, but the marble weave finish is just nuts. Definitely wouldn't work for ANY bike, but for an organic/classic frameset like Aethos - looks beautiful imho.

Dear LB Team! I really find the AR365 and 465 Series really interesting. Most new rims from other vendors are produces HOOKLESS in the meantime. The rim is a bit wider in the bed, offers better tirefitt for TLR TyreS/more aero and I am quite sure the rim itself could be a bit lighter and is wider. Are there plans to built the AR-Series hookless as an option? I know you have some rims of the WR and AR Series already with an hookless option. THX!

Hi Benjamin, Glad to hear that you are taking interest in the X-Flow design 700C bike rim. The width of the rim is dynamically changing to provide a better aero performance. We have to make the layup design specific for the design in order to maintain the weight to stiffness ratio. The flyweight version is what we offer currently. We can certainly make the rim lighter if it's a consistent profile rim. We acheive 360g for AR35 and 390g for AR45 if you prefer a lighter rim. The hookless rims are limited in tire pressure. which is less than75psi/ 5.17bar. Hook rim can hold higher tire pressure. Thanks, Lightbicycle

Will AR465 Rims be available in a hookless version anytime soon? I run 28/30 mm GP5000TR S and would like to run hookless. Or do you recommend wider rims (WR) for this tire combination?

Hi Philip, Thanks for your inquiry! How much tire pressure do you ride? For hookless, it is better to ride less than 60PSI, to prevent from tires blowing off. Want a set of falcon pro wheels from 40 to 46 in depth and 28 width preferably with bites hubs and for disc brakes- I would prefer from us/Canada warehouse- is this possible? Otherwise the overall price probably won’t be cost effective - I’m willing to wait a few months

Hi Piers, We can send the parts or wheels to the North America warehouse, and then ship the AR465 road disc wheelset 700C to you. But it would not be cost-effective or fast. What's the reason that you prefer to ship from Canada or US? If you are concerned about the tax, don't worry. We do have shipping options that include the tax. Hi Joe, I am sorry that the AR375 & AR465 700C road disc special rim shape makes custom hole count impossible. The spoke hole position is aligned with the wave surface by mold. We only have 20H and 24H mold made. But, we can make other rims in 32H without any problem. Will AR45-28mm wide ok for you? Thanks, Lightbicycle

Have you guys tested this in a tunnel? Do you know how many watts faster it is at 40kph vs. the AR45 or WR50?

Hi Julien, Currently, the test is computer simulation on X-flow proflies. What is your tire width? For different tire width, the result will be different. Because WR50 is 32mm wide, and AR45/AR465 are 28mm wide. For AR465 X-flow, they also have much better lateral stiffness than all other models, so they provide better bike control, not just aerodynamics. Thanks, Lightbicycle
